This message is ONLY for the parents of 1st-6th grade distance learning students. As we wrap up this school year, it is time to return textbooks! Please return all textbooks to the Front Office by this Thursday, 5/20 before 3:30pm. When you drop the textbooks off in the Office please make sure to use a sticky note and put the student’s first and last name, grade, and teacher on it.

**Si su estudiante es parte de Aprendizaje a Distancia, queremos que también sean parte del Día De La Foto! Fotos de nuestros estudiantes de Aprendizaje a Distancia serán tomadas entre 9am y 12pm el 11 de Mayo. Padres, por favor manejen en el carril de autobuses (a lado del estacionamiento de maestra/os y deje a su estudiante fuera del auto. Tendremos a adultos con señales asistiendo a los estudiantes a donde ir. Se tomarán su foto y regresarán a su vehículo. Desafortunadamente, no podremos permitir a los padres estar en el campo escolar durante este tiempo, pero nuestro personal se encargará de que su estudiante(s) esté seguro y regrese al auto rápidamente.**

Picture Day is FINALLY here! Picture Day will be Tuesday, May 11th. We can’t wait to see our Koalas rockin’ those smiles and hairstyles! Please make sure you fill out the Picture Day form that your student has/will bring home to you. Thank you!
**If your student is on Distance Learning, we want them to be part of Picture Day too! Pictures of our Distance Learning students will be taken between 9am and 12pm on May 11th. Parents, please pull into our bus lane (by the teacher parking lot) and let your students out of the car. We will have adults and signs assisting your students on where to go. They will take their picture and then return to your vehicle. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to have parents on campus during this time, but our staff will make sure your student(s) is safe and returns to the car quickly.**

Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten online registration is now OPEN! If you have a child who will be entering Kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year, now is the time to enroll them online. The student must be 5 years old by 9/1/2021 to enter Kindergarten, and students who turn 5 from 9/2/2021 to 12/2/2021 can enter our Transitional Kindergarten class. If you know someone who is waiting to enroll their new Kindergarten student with us, please let them know they can do it now! Este mensaje es para informarle que comenzando el próximo Lunes, 26 de Abril, estaremos teniendo instrucción en persona para los estudiantes aquí en la escuela!! Esto quiere decir que los estudiantes asistirán de Lunes a Viernes a nuestro horario normal (8:20 - 2:37), y Miércoles día mínimo (8:20 - 1:41) por el resto del año escolar. Si su estudiante actualmente asiste a la escuela de modo Híbrido (grupos A/B), el/ella automáticamente comenzará a asistir cinco días a la semana, por el día escolar completo, en Abril 26. Si su estudiante actualmente está en nuestro programa de aprendizaje a la distancia, el/ella seguirá con aprendizaje a la distancia por el resto del año escolar. Si su estudiante permanece con aprendizaje a la distancia, el/ella pueda o no tener su maestra actual como maestra de aprendizaje a la distancia.
Si le gustaría cambiar a su niño/a de aprendizaje a la distancia a aprendizaje en persona por tiempo completo, por favor contacte a la oficina escolar al 760-949-0815 para pedir el cambio.

This means that students will attend Monday-Friday on our normal bell schedule (8:20 - 2:37), and Wednesday minimum day (8:20 - 1:41) for the remainder of the school year. If your student is currently attending school for Hybrid (A/B groups), he/she will automatically start attending five days a week, for the full school day, on April 26th. If your student is currently on our distance learning program, he/she will remain on distance learning for the remainder of the school year. If your child remains on distance learning, he/she may or may not have his/her current teacher as the distance learning teacher.
If you would like to switch your child from distance learning to in-person full-time learning, please contact the school office at 760-949-0815 to request the change.
