Did your child forget something?
We understand that mornings can be hectic and that children are sometimes forgetful. However, each time an item is dropped off in the office—whether it’s a lunch, jacket, homework, backpack, or instrument—it results in a disruption to instructional time and your child’s learning. We kindly ask families to take a moment to consider:
Will my child be okay without it for the day?
Does bringing this item help my child grow in responsibility and independence?
What skill can my child practice if I don’t bring this?
Whenever possible, we encourage families to support learning time by helping students practice planning, problem-solving, and responsibility.
